My fingers long to compose those intrinsic words —
words that make me come alive,
words that raise my imaginations to life
since life began through Imagination
and was created through Words.
Words and Imagination are interconnected,
like a baby is to its mother through the umbilical cord,
as words are to imagination.
Words are the culmination of its imagination.
Imagination gives birth to words,
rest is what you call art created.
But what is art?
Art is the fruit of what you call Imaginations and Words.
So, what is life without a zest of imagination and birth of words,
running through your fingers and your mouth?
We are then only an object merely to be cast off and thrown away —
a machine-like puppet.
So be the creator created
and imagine words and breathe out life,
powered by the very existence of life
the Almighty has given.
For life would have never happened
without the power of imagination
and the delivery of words.
Therefore, my dear,
Imagine words and breathe out Life.

*Wrote this in 2014 while enduring a boring class. It was so boring I swear my mind was sending SOS signals. Hence birthed this poem, a poem that remains close to my heart.
A boring environment always brings out the creativity. Steve Jobs put said in the best words, “I’m a big believer in boredom. Boredom allows one to indulge in curiosity, and out of curiosity comes everything.”
Then I should allow myself to be bored more frequently. Appreciate it, Abhijeet!

Of course poetry is art. The question for me is, cannot everyday words be art if they give life? Let me engage in art, in giving life, with my words!
