He could feel the sweat in his palms oozing like melted butter as he struggled to hide the corpse inside a brightly draped sari. Dialogues were being orated in tenors and baritones while the crowds cheered along like clanging cymbals in temples. Suddenly, a hand shot out of nowhere and the lovely draped corpse was pulled away from his hands. He felt his heart drop to his stomach and his hair stood on ends. The sweat of his body seeped into his cloying shirt and he could smell the tangy odor from his body. “What have I done?” was the only words he could think of, as he swallowed a gulp of his own saliva, that tasted like blend curry.
